Arboretum Title wants to be your title company ensuring that your real estate transaction proceeds smoothly through the closing.

Arboretum Title is a small title company providing all the same title and closing services as the big title companies, and more. We are owned and operated by Attorney Christopher W. Duren. Being operated by an Attorney gives you the advantage of having an attorney close your transaction and understand the complexities of the legal issues involved with your closing. Another advantage is that Attorney Duren can draft additional any additional legal documents needed for your transaction. A title company cannot draft legal documents, offer legal advice in a transaction, or offer a legal opinion on title issues. Attorney Duren can provide you with his legal advice, or offer his legal opinion on the title or legal issues involved with your closing.

Besides the added benefit of having an attorney perform your closing, Arboretum Title offers you the following services at no additional cost:

• After Hours closing
• Off-Site Closing at your lender's office or your realtor's office.
• In-your-home closing. We will actually perform the closing in the comfort of your own home if requested.
• 24-hour turnaround time on your title commitment order if requested.

Despite these additional services, our services will cost you less that what the big title companies will charge you for the exact same services.

Our Fees

Purchase transaction:

• Owner's Title Policy:
  $400 for the first $100,000 of coverage. $1.00 for each $1,000 above $100,000. (e.g. $250,000 of coverage = $550.00)
• Lender's Title Policy: $150.00
• Settlement Fee: $225.00
• Drafting of Deed/Transfer Return: $50.00

Refinance Transaction:

• Lender's Policy: $225.00
• Settlement Fee: $150.00
